Nursing

For a long time I wanted to be a midwife however, awhile ago I decided that midwifery wasn't the thing I wanted to do and decided I would prefer to be a paediatric nurse instead.

After doing a bit of research I found out you need at least five GCSEs at A-C grades and a further BTEC or CACHE qualification from college to go into a nursing career. I also found out that it could take up a good few years to become fully qualified in any sort of nursing career. You can train at college (the website UCAS that is in my links has a good place to search through the available colleges). You then take a course through university or you could go into nursing training but that will take even longer to qualify for the position of a paediatric nurse.

To find out more information there is a good website link on my links pages which tells you lots off things about midwives and paediatric nursing and how to be one
there is also good links for the colleges and college search engines.

Hope this section is useful to anyone who is interested in nursing.
